Celebrating and showcasing a unique approach to Indian food, Chef Sudha Saha’s passion to share a fresh perspective on the cuisine stems from his love for authentic flavours and innovative cooking techniques.
His cuisine seeks to break down conventional barriers, inspiring and educating people about Indian cuisine. The result is a culinary experience that is a world away from Birmingham’s renowned baltis.
An experienced Chef, he has spent years progressing through restaurant kitchens in Dubai, India, Spain and the UK. At 17, he accepted a place to train in Hotel Management in Chennai. He then subsequently joined the Ambassador Hotel and trained with the Taj Group. At 23, he moved to Dubai to take up his first Executive Chef role.
Sudha’s culinary career in Indian food spans over three decades. Over the years he has taken part in a range of live cooking demos including Hotelympia, Grand Designs and the Food and Drink Expo at the NEC.
He has also appeared on Brit Asia TV’s ‘Culinary King’, Channel 4’s Iron Chef, ITV’s Britain’s Best Dish, BBC2’s Restaurant with Alex Polizzi, CBBC’s Disaster Chef, Food Network’s Birmingham to Bombay, and Channel S’s Catering Circle.
